One of the very few negatives that can be aimed at Raffles Hotel is that some of the rooms can be described as small. Although these rooms are a tight squeeze, this is not seen as much of a hindrance and many furnishings are still present.

Although it has been rarely reported, a small number of guests have had some problems with external noise filtering into their rooms. However, this problem is more of an issue with Blackpool itself than the hotel.

While the Raffles Hotel is one of the most highly regarded in Blackpool, this does come at a cost – literally. Although it is certainly not the most expensive option in the town, other comparable alternatives are cheaper and more suitable for budget-conscious travellers.
