Positive Reviews
positive:
Spacious rooms.
Most guests reported ample space in rooms, especially in accommodation that came with a kitchenette. Having plenty of room to stretch out was a bonus for many guests who were used to cramped quarters in the price range that they paid.
positive:
Welcoming owners.
With the exception of a few guests, the majority of visitors had pleasant interactions with hotel management. Friendly and helpful staff provided satisfactory customer service, and complaints about hard to deal with staff were few and far between.
positive:
Close to amenities.
It was convenient for guests to be near a gas station and within walking distance of several restaurants. Guests said that you also couldn't beat the easy access off of the Trans Canada Highway, and perhaps most important of all, guests were treated to a million dollar mountain view.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Time for an upgrade.
Several guests expressed their disapproval of older furnishings and fixtures. They didn't feel that they received good value based on this, and were particularly unhappy with things like stains, chips and cracks that were commonplace in accommodation that was in need of a makeover.
negative:
Questionable cleanliness.
Guests thought that housekeeping staff needed to pay better attention to the details. Rooms often felt unclean to guests, with sheets and towels being a major disappointment for many.
negative:
Noise might be a concern.
Being located next to the highway meant that some guests experienced more traffic noise than they would have liked. Thin walls also posed a problem, with several guests reporting that they could clearly hear their neighbours.
