Solara Resort and Spa - Bellstar Hotels & Resorts (Canmore, Canada)

Guests thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque views from the hotel o the surrounding mountains as well as being far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Many said that they were able to walk to the centre of town and also appreciated being close to numerous scenic walks and nature trails.

Many said that they felt perfectly at home during their stay thanks to the wide range of amenities available in their suites including fully-equipped kitchens complete with washing machines. The bedding and towels were said to be of good quality while guests also complimented  the up-to-date fixtures and fittings in the bathrooms.

During their free time guests were pleased to find that they did not have to leave the resort in search of something to do. Those who visited the spa said that they enjoyed the treatments which were carried out by professional and knowledgeable therapists. The on-site gym was described as clean and spacious featuring a wide range of modern equipment.

Quite a few guests objected to the fact that their suites were not thoroughly serviced as they noticed dust on the surfaces and items left from previous occupants. Others mentioned that housekeeping was quite sporadic and would turn up at different times each day.

Those who were keen to do a few laps in the pool were disappointed to report that the indoor pool was very small and just about adequate for a refreshing dip.

Guests were disappointed to find that there were no dining facilities on-site which meant that they had to leave the premises in search of somewhere to eat. Others said that their stay would have been more enjoyable if there was a bar on-site.
