Positive Reviews
positive:
Spotlessly clean throughout
A simply incredible number of guests went out of their way to comment on the cleanliness of the hotel, with almost all saying that both their room and the public areas of the hotel were kept immaculately clean for the duration of their stay.
positive:
Very handy kitchenettes
Though not all rooms have them, those in rooms that did have a kitchenette really seemed to appreciate and make use of them. They liked that they could easily prepare their own drinks and snacks without having to find a café or restaurant every time.
positive:
Stylish décor
The majority of guests were very happy with the look of their room, saying that it was not only stylish, but somehow managed to be homely at the same time.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some issues with the breakfast
Most guests did not really like the breakfast itself, with the usual complaint being that it was meagre and lacked any sort of variety. But what upset most seemed to be that the breakfast room itself was simply too small for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. As a result, it became uncomfortably crowded and some guests couldn't find a seat.
negative:
Quite far from downtown Trois-Rivieres
It seems that a number of guests did not expect to be as far away from downtown Trois-Rivieres as they were. It was mentioned that it was certainly not within reasonable waking distance and any trip to the centre would require a car and a couple of minutes drive at least
negative:
Noise from the bridge
The hotel is right by the Laviolette Bridge, and guests reported that the sound of cars crossing over it could clearly be heard at night.
