Central but Secret
Ingleside Inn boasts a perfect location, in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, but still secluded enough for a quiet and peaceful stay. The area is also very safe. Guests especially enjoyed being able to walk to major downtown sights, as well as shopping and dining.
positive:
Hollywood Glamour
Ingleside Inn is meant to radiate old Hollywood-era style glamour and guests enjoyed the hotel's atmosphere very much. For a complete experience, don't miss out on dining at the hotel's restaurant, Melvyn's. With a varied gourmet selection including many American and international dishes, there is something on the menu to please every palate. The wine list is equally as impressive and the martinis are award winning. Quick tip: the restaurant is also known for many celebrity sightings, so make sure to people watch.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Aging Gracefully
The property is older and it does show. Guests say the rooms look outdated and some updates are necessary. In addition, many guests would appreciate the addition of a bathroom fan.
negative:
Air Conditioner
Though most guests didn't have problems, several thought the air conditioner in their room wasn't working well enough, especially on hot days. The A/C units are an older model and aren't very strong. They are also quite noisy, so bring a pair of earplugs if you plan on sleeping with it on.
negative:
No Issues Reported
So far, no recent negative opinion has been expressed by guests about this hotel.
