Top-notch location
Being able to get to must-see hotspots like the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle water park and South Pier on foot in no more than ten minutes is a major plus, as is having Blackpool South train station just around the corner. However, it is proximity of the Waterloo Road tram stop which is the real bonus here, as this enables you to explore Blackpool's legendary coastline in the most convenient - and enjoyable - way possible.

Belly-busting brekkies
As well as perennial favourites like eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes and fried bread, the good folk at the Wimbourne provide that iconic full English treat which no Lancashire breakfast is complete without - black pudding. Delicious. It has to be said that the traditional evening pub grub meals tend to go down quite nicely too (be sure to try the scampi).
positive:
Owners are just lovely
The vast majority of guests staying here end up falling in love with the Wimbourne's earnestly friendly and ever-industrious proprietors. This highly personable couple are willing to do whatever it takes to make you feel relaxed and at home, so much so that you invariably end up feeling a pang of sadness when the time comes to check out and go home...
