Hotel Villa Royale (Palm Springs, USA)

Most guests were so impressed with their stay here they can't wait to come again. The hotel boasts beautiful, well-equipped rooms with all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay. Guests especially appreciated the convenience of a personal refrigerator and microwave. The accommodating staff are extremely helpful in when you run into any issues or need assistance. Also, guests absolutely loved the pool areas. Both of the outdoor pools are situated in a private setting in a courtyard and are a relaxing way to end the day.

Guests really liked the local area of the hotel. The neighbourhood is central but also quiet and peaceful. It is only two mils from the Palm Spring city centre. Most major sights, including the Botanical Garden, are within walking distance or a short drive away. There are also many dining opportunities in the area.

Make sure to try out the onsite Europa restaurant, which is considered the highlight of the hotel. It serves a lovely breakfast that is both delicious and generous, and boasts a unique continental European menu for both lunch and dinner. Guests say each dish is lovingly prepared and beautifully served.

Despite the well-kept aspects, most guests agree the hotel could use some remodelling and renovations. A lot of the furniture and fixtures show wear and tear, so cosmetic touch-ups are a must. Also, various amenities are often found in disrepair.

Guests often complain about the air conditioning not being very efficient. The units look a bit old, much like many parts of the hotel, and could use an update.
