The Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City has been a popular choice of accommodation for some of the world's celebrities including politicians and actors. It is centrally located in downtown Oklahoma. Several of the city's attractions are located around the hotel like Bricktown, Deep Deuce, the Business and Arts District and the Automobile Alley.

Combining history and luxury, the rooms and suites are spacious and comfortable. All rooms are equipped with LCD satellite television, work desk and two phones with data port and coffee maker. Two complimentary water bottles are provided and microwaves and refrigerators are supplied on request. Suites add a living room and some suites add a whirlpool tub and wet bar.

The hotel has prolific facilities for meetings and_x000D_ events with its boardrooms and ballrooms with an onsite team to take care of_x000D_ the arrangements. A business center with office equipment and Internet is_x000D_ present for guests on business. A fitness center with state of the art_x000D_ equipment is available. A heated indoor pool is also featured. A grill_x000D_ restaurant and piano bar takes care of the dining needs of the guests with live_x000D_ performances to entertain.

Pillows provided in the rooms are lumpy and uncomfortable to use. Some of the rooms have less than attractive views of the air conditioning vents from their rooms.

The parking area is distant. Valet parking is expensive. Self-parking facilities are also charged but unavailable when an event is taking place at the hotel. Guests feel the facilities are overpriced.

Walls are thin so the guests in the rooms are constantly subjected to noises from the elevator, corridor and the guests next door. Also the gap under the door of the room allows far too much light for comfort into the rooms.
