Styled after an opulent Italian villa, Ocean Lodge receives much praise for its interesting design and décor. Guests love the uniqueness of the property, going on to describe it as beautiful yet comfortable.

The hotel features a rooftop bar where guests can enjoy a drink whilst looking out on the Atlantic Ocean. The atmosphere at the bar is said to be friendly and lively, making it easy for guests to while away an evening.

Past guests have been almost unanimous in their opinion of the hotel staff, reporting that employees are professional yet friendly. More than a few guests have commented upon how the staff has treated them like family.

According to several reports, guestrooms at Ocean Lodge can be on the gloomy side. Rooms are said to be limited in the amount of natural light they receive, thanks to small windows and heavy drapes.

Some guests are saddened to find out that their accommodations do not offer views of the Atlantic. While some rooms do offer said views, the proximity of summer houses and construction work to the hotel means that some views are obstructed.

The Rooftop at Ocean Lodge, the hotel's on-site restaurant, has come under fire from some guests. These guests report that service at the restaurant can be very slow and when food does arrive, it is often mediocre. Even the excellent views from the restaurant's rooftop location don't appear able to save it from criticism.
