The sights of Greenwich and London are all within easy reach of this hotel be it on foot or by rail. You simply can’t get a better location in Greenwich considering that it is so close to the train station and all of the most interesting sights.

This hotel is full of charm and the old world feeling that you expect when you see it from afar. It’s a very quaint little lodge that is more like a country place than an inner city hotel. The rooms, on the other hand, are very modern and stylish in décor.

You’ll get none of that city hotel coldness in this hotel where everyone is smiling, and they are all only too willing to help the guests. If you have any issues, don’t be afraid to ask the reception staff who can handle all of your queries with ease.

The free breakfast is a continental that is not up to much. If you want a real meal, you’ll have to order from the menu and pay. Having said that the cooked breakfast is good value for money, so it’s probably worth paying for.

The rooms are great and nicely decorated, but the public areas really need a good lick of paint or perhaps a complete makeover. They are not really in keeping with the contemporary style of the modern rooms which is a shame.

You might want to pack your earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the rooms at this hotel are not soundproofed in any way. You’ll hear quite a lot of traffic noise through the old windows.
