The location is arguably the biggest advantage that the Farnborough possesses - based on the overall feedback of past guests. Centrally situated, the hotel is a short walk from the promenade and Central Pier. Furthermore, other popular points of interest such as Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach are within reasonable walking distance.

Most former visitors were pleased with the service provided by the hotel's staff. Whilst their efficiently was somewhat criticised, the personnel working at the accommodation were typically summed up as friendly and sociable.
