Beautiful setting overlooking Frenchman's Bay
Although you are a couple of kilometres from Bar Harbour, you may not regret your choice when you fix your eyes on the magnificent views from these cottages. Guests love their stunning vantage point over Frenchman's Bay and the glorious sunrises you can experience. What's more you couldn't hope to be closer to the entrance of the Acadia National Park and are not far from the beach.

Good value accommodation
If you're looking for somewhere simple, yet pleasant to stay, these cottages are reasonably priced. Whilst they are far from being luxurious, guests find that they are more than adequate - especially if you are seeking self-catering accommodation. The kitchens are well equipped with microwaves, and refrigerators, whilst the king-size beds are very comfortable. Dog lovers are also delighted that their 4-legged companions can stay too!

Negative Reviews

In need of an update
Guests do feel that the cottages are a bit old and an update is long overdue. Some of the equipment is dated and the fittings are tired.
negative:
Complete lack of sound-insulation
If you're in one of the duplex cottages you may not appreciate company next door. Guests say there is absolutely no sound-proofing at all and you can hear every word your neighbour utters.
negative:
Unprofessional service
Guests find the staff to be friendly and courteous. These, however, seem to be the ones who don't run into any problems. If you do, don't expect top class customer service and be prepared for a rude response. Guests say that the place is not managed professionally and complaints are not properly taken care of or ignored.
