Although expectations are usually lower for budget accommodations than for 3-5 star hotels, the disappointment felt here is quite evident. Rooms are in obvious need of deep cleaning, repair, and renovation, which is why the moderate rates are still consid

Continental breakfast isn't much of anything.
The breakfast is included in the cost of the room, but of such poor quality and quantity that it's thought of as insulting. Milk is past its freshness, so of no use, and the offerings are much smaller and scarcer than most expect for a continental meal.

Room temperatures can be too hot, and water temperatures can be too cold, which are frustrating and inconvenient. This is especially unpleasant when experienced within the same stay, as you just can't maintain the right settings for comfort.
