Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenience at every turn.
Most guests arrive with a car full of eager faces ready to explore the resort, and staying at the hotel should help. Drop your luggage off and get straight into the park, utilise the added perk of early access and, if you purchase items from a Legoland store, have your goods delivered to your room.
positive:
Family friendly rooms.
Rooms are spacious; with a double bed, bunks and a pull-out, and can accommodate a family of five comfortably. There are two TVs, and plenty of storage space for all the excess baggage that comes with a family break..
positive:
Smiling faces all round.
Fun is the name of the game here and previous guests have been thrilled with the whole experience; children are kept busy with entertainment at meal times, play areas throughout the hotel, LEGO building competitions and treasure hunts daily and, best of all, adults can relax knowing the children are having fun in a safe, secure environment.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not enough facilities at busy times.
With just two lifts, guests may find themselves having to negotiate the stairs during busy periods. There is also the possibility of restriction at the pool; with usage limited to 1 hour in high season.
negative:
Manic mealtimes.
As you might expect with so many children in one place, the restaurant can be a manic, noisy environment at breakfast and dinner. Food is served buffet-style, and some guests feel that more could be done by staff to keep the area clean and less chaotic.
negative:
Service; slow and unreliable.
Previous guests have suggested that employee turnover must be high as the majority of staff appear unfamiliar with hotel procedures. Others have stated that there does not seem to be a strong management presence and, as a result, service can be slow and unreliable.
