Positive Reviews
positive:
Impressive interiors.
Guests could really put their feet up in rooms that were both stylish and comfortable. Recently renovated accommodation made a great impression on guests, and visitors also noticed that rooms were not only spacious, but spotlessly clean as well.
positive:
Efficient staff.
Many guests commented on the quick check-in and check-out that staff provided. Hotel personnel were also found to be friendly and approachable, one of the best things about Swiss Inn Batam, according to satisfied guests.
positive:
Nice location.
Guests found that this hotel was well situated, and enjoyed being near attractions like the Barelang Bridge, Tua Pek Kong Temple, and the shops of Batam City Square that were just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Nagoya Hill Mall, the largest shopping mall in the area, could be reached by guests in 25 minutes on foot.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Shaky Wi-Fi.
While guests loved most things about their stay, some didn't love unreliable Wi-Fi that cut in and out. The free price tag was great, but the inefficiency of the Internet wasn't appreciated.
negative:
Busy road.
Guests loved the convenience of the shops across the street, but they were a little uneasy about the busy road that they had to cross to get to them. The heavily travelled road was also found to be a source of traffic noise for guests in rooms close by.
negative:
Average gym.
Fitness minded guests were a little disappointed with the gym. Guests looking to work up a sweat wished for a bigger facility with more equipment. The good news, though, is that despite its size, the gym was never crowded, and had equipment in good working order.
