According to many travellers, this motel's location just off highway I-20 west of Shreveport offered easy access for drivers. Furthermore, the out-of-town location was close to petrol stations and roadside eateries. Motorists were also glad there was free parking. The proximity of the freeway reportedly enabled easy access to sports venues, casinos, industrial areas, golf courses, theme parks and military sites in the area.
