Positive Reviews
positive:
It all looks great!
There's a great welcome from friendly and helpful staff. This gets the visit off to a good start. It doesn't disappoint from thereon in; rooms are nicely decorated and clean and the facilities, including the pool, are really very appealing.
positive:
On the right track.
There's a track nearby leading in to Burlington North Santa Fe railway station but ... possibly depending on the location of your room ... there is no noise intrusion to speak of.
positive:
Lovely facilities.
The indoor pool is really attractive and it's well worth noting the standard of breakfast which is really appetizing and impressive.

Here comes another one
Rooms at the rear of the hotel are the closest to the rail track and trains run at all times of the day ... and night! Light 'sleepers' (!!) will benefit from specifying a room to the front of the building.
negative:
As one door closes ... another one shuts
There's no real noise factor here relating to neighboring guests and lack of sound insulation, but surely, the 'closers' on corridor fire doors and those leading to and in the rooms, could have been 'cushioned' rather than slamming closed? As it is, this noise is a real pain.
negative:
Hairs today ... are still here tomorrow
The bathroom, in particular, but extending to the carpets throughout; is a source of conclusive evidence of an excessive amount of hair originating from previous guests. Cleaning staff need a wakeup call.
