positive:
Style and Substance
Overall, guests were quite pleased with the hotel. With ornate, vintage-style décor, the hotel is definitely one of a kind. Many rooms have been recently renovated as has the indoor heated pool area. Guests appreciated the in-room amenities, especially the refrigerator and microwave, and really liked the comfortable beds. Complimentary Wi-Fi, parking, and breakfast, were also seen my many as perks.
positive:
Pleasant Personnel
Guests had a lot of nice things to say about the staff. Everyone is quite friendly and accommodating.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Already Renovating
Though many rooms have already been renovated, there are still many updates on the way. Guests say they are long overdue, and although clean, the older rooms need cosmetic repairs and modern upgrades. The bathrooms especially need attention, the TVs should be switched to a modern flat screen, and the walls need to be repainted. Guests highly recommend upgrading to a newly refurbished room.
negative:
Weak Wi-Fi
Some of the rooms have poor Wi-Fi reception, and fortunately, the hotel is working on installing a new internet system. If you run into this problem, guests say the connection is always better in the lobby.
negative:
Boring Breakfast
The breakfast did not impress many guests. Reviews say that it needs more choices and more fresh fruit. In addition, the selection doesn't change from day to day so it gets repetitive.
