Despite the proximity of the I-35E, it seems that the hotel is set back enough from the road to ensure that any disturbance from traffic noise is minimal. As well as finding the hotel quiet, guests have also noted that the suites and common areas of the property are kept clean.

Guests have enjoyed the selection of shopping opportunities in the area surrounding the hotel, as well as finding the proximity of the airport, the downtown district, and area attractions convenient. There are numerous tourist attractions within a 20-minute drive of the property.

The standard of service at this hotel doesn’t seem to be a problem. Guests have found the staff friendly and welcoming. Plus, those guests who encountered problems often felt these were dealt with professionally and courteously.

While guests consistently describe the hotel as clean and quiet, reviews do suggest that the property has suffered from a lack of proper maintenance and upkeep. On the plus side, it seems that the property changed hands in 2015 and renovations are planned.

Previous guests have noted that there is a distinct lack of dining choices within walking distance of the hotel. As the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, this will mean some journeys to dine out. That said, guests have been able to use the shuttle service to visit area dining spots.

Although this hotel offers free perks such as breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking, and an area shuttle, guests have still tended to find the rates here a little on the high side. There’s a sense that the rates charged are more appropriate for a hotel that is in better shape.
