The rooms at Springhill Suites Hampton are described as spacious and comfortable offering quiet and restful stays. The hotel has all that guests needed for enjoyable stays: the pool, gym and in-room amenities such as microwave, fridge etc.

Guests described the hotel staff as very helpful and professional. The hotel rooms are described as clean and well looked after and the staff was happy to provide fresh towels and other items when required. The Check-in staff receives compliments, as does the free breakfast served here.

The hotel is well located for people on their way from Norfolk to Williamsburg. The hotel is also ideally located for eating out and shopping, and for business visitors wanting to visit the convention center, coliseum and so on.

Some of the complaints that guests had against the Springhill Suites Hampton seemed to suggest that this hotel is not up to the usual standards that one would expect from a Marriott. However since guests said that there was renovation work ongoing at the hotel, the problems could be attributed to this.

Guests found that the small sized pool can get overrun with noisy kids during the busier times. Also the rooms above the convention hall can get noisy when there are ongoing events and meetings here.

Some issues of inadequate cleaning or worn furnishings were reported; however many guests put this down to the ongoing renovations.
