Positive Reviews
positive:
Bright, contemporary rooms.
Rooms on offer at Courtyard Atlanta are bright and feature contemporary décor that adds nicely to the overall clean and uncluttered style of the accommodation. Rooms are exceptionally well-maintained and hotel cleaning crews perform excellently, keeping rooms spotlessly clean and fresh.
positive:
Helpful, knowledgeable staff.
Hotel staff are warm and very approachable, offering an excellent level of customer service. Hotel staff, particularly front desk personnel, go out of their way to meet all requests or deal with problems as they occur. Most staff offer great local knowledge and can advise best places to visit, shop or eat at.
positive:
Excellent en suite showers.
Guest room en suite bathrooms are clean, well-organized and well-maintained. Showers are of a good size and offer excellent water pressure with consistent hot water delivery. Superior to most hotel showers in a similar price range.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No weekend courtesy shuttle.
Curiously, while the hotel offers a free area shuttle service which will take guests to Georgia Tech as well as local shops, restaurants and other points of interest, this service is not available on weekends.
negative:
Nearby highway may be problematic.
The hotel is conveniently located near the I-75 highway and while the majority of hotel rooms are fairly quiet, rooms closest to the highway side should be avoided by light sleepers who may find traffic noise somewhat disruptive.
negative:
No free breakfast on offer.
While Courtyard Atlanta Midtown does feature an onsite American bistro which serves both breakfast and dinner, there is no complimentary breakfast buffet on offer at the hotel. Guests can choose to enjoy breakfast at the Bistro at a separate charge.
