Great Level of Service
The general impression of the The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead is that the level of service received by guests is of a very high order, on the rare occasions that there was a legitimate complaint reception staff looked into it and made an adjustment to the bill to compensate. Recent changes of staff had, if anything, improved an already high standard. .

Well Maintained in a Great Location
The hotel is extremely well maintained, with rooms that are clean and luxurious, and of a good size; its location, close to the shopping and restaurant area of Atlanta is a great attraction. The courtesy car was of great benefit to guests.

Food and drink were found to be of a very high standard, with the breakfast being found to be exceptional, including a made to order omelette. The bar was also found to be fantastic and a New Year's eve celebration was a great success. .

Query re Room Service
There is some misunderstanding as to the provision of room service. The hotel publicity clearly states “24-hour in-room dining” yet when a guest asked for a room service menu, and chased it up after it did not arrive, they were told that there was no room service menu. .

Not Very Helpful
A potential client who asked the hotel to provide something special to celebrate his wife's birthday was disappointed by the lack of a positive response, and went elsewhere. Others who did stay found that the bed was not very comfortable, with flat pillows, and that the air conditioning was not at all effective. .

The outside of the hotel is not as attractive as the interior. Guests who went to the lobby bar felt that the drinks there were not all that good, and much too expensive. .
