Positive Reviews
positive:
Good central location next to the Singapore River.
This hostel enjoys a prime position within the city centre of Singapore, close to many of the major attractions in the city. Located on Circular Road, there are plenty of bars and restaurants surrounding this place.
positive:
The low rates are good for budget travellers.
Whether you choose a private room or a dormitory bed, the rates here are kept very low to cater for travellers on a budget. If you need cheap accommodation while staying in Singapore then this hostel is a good choice.
positive:
All the staff offer friendly customer service.
You'll find it hard to fault the helpful service offered by the people working here, they really do their best to make sure you enjoy your stay. Any problems you might have during your stay will be fixed straightaway.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Terrible breakfast included in the room rate.
Don't expect a tasty morning meal when you head downstairs for your free breakfast, there is little choice on offer and what is available is generally of a rather low quality. Head out to a nearby cafe for a much better morning meal.
negative:
The tiny rooms here are simply too cramped.
Space is certainly a premium at this hostel, so much so that the accommodation on offer is certifiably tiny. You'll have no space to swing a cat, in fact there isn't enough room for you to bring much more that a backpack.
negative:
Lack of ventilation makes things rather smelly.
Some of the rooms here have no windows and the lack of ventilation has left them with a rather nasty whiff. With guests coming and going regularly the rooms have little opportunity to air out.
