Hotel Poydras (New Orleans, USA)

This Staybridge Suites location is situated in the heart of New Orleans, close to a wide selection of local attractions as well as numerous shops, bars and restaurants. The vibrant French Quarter is an exciting, bustling area for guests to immerse themselves in and the location is also a short walk from places of interest such as the Superdome and Harrahs Casino. Famous New Orleans sites, such as the renowned riverboats, are a short distance from the accommodation also.

Guests were very complimentary towards the hotel's price and believed that a stay at this hotel is very good value. The hotel offers guests a wide range of complimentary amenities, such as a free buffet-style breakfast each morning and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring the room fee is good value for money.

The staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to deliver wonderful customer service that will make guests feel at home upon arrival. They create a warm atmosphere and are willing to help with any requests or queries guests may have.

Some guests felt that the hotel could be cleaner and that the outdoor swimming pool would benefit from a thorough cleaning. Other guests found that their rooms had a faint cigarette smell lingering in them, either from the smoke travelling up from the designated smoking areas or previous guests being smokers.

While the breakfast was considered to be a bonus by most guests, others would have appreciated more variety in the food options being served.

Despite the location being praised by a large number of guests, other guests were under the impression that the neighbourhood was not safe. However, the vast majority of guests would recommend staying at this hotel.
