positive:
Traditional Welsh manor has character.
This establishment occupies premises with a long history; indeed it still has Victorian and Tudor features. Therefore, many guests thought the hotel with its eclectic layout and idiosyncratic rooms was quirky and had bags of individual character.
positive:
Tranquil and idyllic Snowdonia location.
Most reviewers said they liked the tranquil and beautiful location, which is surrounded by stunning Snowdonia countryside and pretty gardens. Guests thought it was convenient being just off the A470 main road but far away enough for traffic noise not to be audible. Lovers of the great outdoors were in their element at this quiet rural retreat where guests can visit nearby waterfalls, a gold mine, take walks in the wild Rhinogs or head to the coast for a day at the beach. Dog owners also liked being able to bring their pets with prior notice.
