Positive Reviews
positive:
Spacious, well-furnished and comfortable rooms.
Past guests have been pretty much unanimous in their opinion of the bedrooms at the Pelham Lodge, stating that they are comfortable, well-furnished and decorated to a high standard. And unlike many accommodation choices in Blackpool, the rooms are noted as being spacious – which further exemplifies the comfort aspect of the rooms.
positive:
Fantastic breakfast.
The breakfast, in the opinion of virtually every past visitor to the guest house, is of a very high quality. With a made to order full English breakfast – which can be catered for all dietary requirements – and plenty of extras such as fruit, cereals and yogurt, it is a fantastic way to start the day.
positive:
Great central location.
Thanks to the Pelham Lodge being close to the centre of Blackpool – but still in a reportedly quiet area – it is in an ideal location. The Blackpool Tower, Winter Gardens and Houndshill Shopping Centre are all less than ten minutes away on foot.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Lacking in entertainment.
Although the Pelham Lodge does have a lounge area, it is limited when it comes to other facilities. The guest house doesn’t have a bar area or any form of in-house entertainment, which could be a negative for those looking for a little extra out of their accommodation.
negative:
Private parking is limited.
The Pelham Lodge does have its own dedicated private parking area – but it is limited to just five spaces. With it being on a first come, first served basis, it might not be possible to acquire an on-site parking spot.
negative:
Wi-Fi not the strongest.
Some guests have mentioned that while the Wi-Fi is capable enough to do light Internet activities, it might struggle when it comes to more strenuous undertakings.
