There is a complimentary happy hour each day at the hotel where guests can enjoy a free beer, glass of wine or soft drink as well as some appetizers. Visitors state that the evening reception was a nice event and adds a little something extra to your stay.

Guests point out that there are numerous restaurants close to the hotel as well as great shopping options. Spokane Valley Mall is across the street from the hotel while there are seven eateries within five minutes of the property on foot.

The property is located along the Spokane River and some of the rooms as well as the on-site restaurant offer views of the nearby water. Travelers state that the river provides a nice backdrop and creates a soothing ambiance at the hotel.

There is a free hot breakfast buffet at the hotel that has eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal and a number of other options. Several travelers say that the breakfast area is somewhat small and that the line at the buffet can get rather long if the hotel is at or near capacity.

The staff at the property can be cold and indifferent according to a number of travelers who add that it seems as if some employees do not care about you at all. A couple of travelers note that a few staff members need to be able to provide a better customer service experience.

A few guests say the pillows in the rooms are not all that great to use. While the beds receive high marks, some visitors point out that the pillows are not comfortable and don't seem all that nice.
