Numerous Spokane sights including Spokane Arena, Gonzaga University and the Spokane Convention Center are within walking distance of the property. Visitors point out that the location made it easy to get around the city's downtown area.

Visitors say the evening reception held each night at the hotel is a wonderful event and shows that the hotel cares about you. You will find complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks at the reception.

The rooms at the property are well equipped according to travelers who say they enjoy the spacious suites which have a microwave, refrigerator and TV in them among other items. Guests also state that views from the rooms are nice as well. Accommodations have views of either the river or city.

A number of travelers complain about the beds and pillows at the property saying they were not all that comfortable. Some visitors state that the pillows are too small and add that the beds don't provide a whole lot of comfort.

While the rooms are nice, a couple of guests note that the decor and some of furnishings do look somewhat old and tired. These visitors add that the appearance of the decor does take some of the shine away from the property.

A few visitors say the pool at the hotel wasn't the cleanest and the water could appear to be somewhat dirty. Guests do point out this wasn't an issue with the hot tub which was nice and clean.
