Positive Reviews
positive:
Highly convenient for the airport.
With the 24-hour complimentary shuttle service and a 24-hour front desk, it doesn't matter how unreasonable your flight time is, the journey is made easy for you. It's a short transfer, so you don't have to worry about getting to the terminal in time, and it's also easy to get into central Montreal.
positive:
Excellent food, including breakfast.
Best Western Aeroport de Montreal prides itself on its cuisine, and it doesn't scrimp on the free breakfast - you'll find a wide range of freshly cooked, hot dishes, which are constantly restocked throughout the breakfast period. Dinner at Le Voyageur isn't half bad either, so you don't have to leave the hotel for meals if you don't want to.
positive:
Professional, courteous service.
Throughout the hotel, the service is top-notch. According to guests, the front desk staff have a pleasant, welcoming attitude, and are ready to offer any advice or help you need. The housekeeping team does a great job too, keeping rooms spotlessly clean and tidy.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Cramped conditions in the bathrooms.
While most guests seem to think the bedrooms are of an adequate size, they feel very cramped in the bathrooms. The tubs, toilets and sinks have been crammed into a tiny area, leaving little space for human beings, which can make your morning beautifying routine a bit claustrophobic.
negative:
Long queues, especially for breakfast.
If a whole flight of people descend on the hotel at once, there aren't always enough people at the front desk to cope, so check-in can become a lengthy procedure. Many guests also report that the queues for breakfast can be interminable, so it's wise to get there early.
negative:
Coming by car poses some problems.
While there is free parking onsite, guests say that it's fairly limited, so at busy periods, you may struggle to find a space close to the hotel. There's also a bit of a maze-like system to get to the hotel site, complicated with one-way roads and a lack of clear signage.
