Bromont Quebec Canada, Outdoor Sports Enthusiasts’ Paradise

Situated in southwestern Quebec at the base of Mount Brome, Bromont is located between Montreal and Sherbrooke. Created in 1964 as a resort community, this beautiful section of Quebec is anchored by Mount Brome and its several summits, making it the perfect destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts. Guests have many hotel options, including several lovely bed & breakfasts, as well as camping sites, condos, and standard hotels.

Downhill Skiing Adventures

Ski Bromont is the main ski resort and offers something for everyone, from beginners all the way up to experts who want to improve their skills. They offer four circuits – family, adventure, contemplative, and grand tour. Their ski school offers several ski and snowboard lessons, both private and for groups. This full-service resort offers ski rental and repair as well. They even offer childcare options. Ski Bromont has five separate “Snowprks” which feature jumps and different features where skiers can create and practice their freestyle moves. They are well known for their illuminated alpine skiing adventures. The mountain resort offers three separate chalet-style hotels on site where visitors can bunk down at night, plus food options are available in the Chalet du village. The boutique sells everything the skier may need, including gloves, eyewear, helmets, and other accessories.

A Hiking Trail for Every Level

Mount Bromont isn’t just for skiing enthusiasts. During the warmer months, visitors enjoy a myriad of outdoor activities like hiking and mountain biking. Bromont has an extensive, free nature trail network where guests can access hiking and biking trails for all levels. Mountain Network is great for horseback riding, hiking, or bicycles. The trail is 15.1 km surrounding Brome Mountain and takes approximately 3:30 to complete. Gale Lake Network’s Grillon Trail is seven kilometres of an intermediate level and takes approximately two hours to complete. For beginners or those looking for a quick hike, Mont Berthier Network and Mont Oak Networks are near the Bromont village centre and are less than three km. It’s a good all-season trail where guests can bring dogs, and only takes about 30 minutes to complete. But perhaps the best views can be found on the Village Network which takes guests through the heart of two villages, Bromont and Adamsville, and offers views of Mount Brome. This 11.5 km linear trail is even accessible with a sports stroller and takes about 2:30 to complete.

Golf and Water Sports

Le Golf des Lacs is a fun 12-hole, semi-executive course that offers gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. Golf Chateau Bromont was created by Howard Watson and Graham Cooke and offers 18 holes, plus practice area, club rental, golf lessons, and onsite golf shop. After a round of golf, guests can cool down at Bromont Water Park which features 20 activities for the entire family.
