Not only was this motel conveniently positioned off the Cabrillo Highway just south of San Luis Obispo in central California, but also there was a diner nearby and further dining options a short drive away. Beachgoers loved the proximity of Pacific Ocean beaches. It was also quick and easy to reach vineyards, golf courses, universities, museums, shopping malls, the airport and the Amtrak station. Drivers said the ample free parking was another plus.
