Poorly insulated walls
Guests of the hotel generally appreciated the cleanliness and reasonable prices. And, although the area is relatively quiet, guests found the walls at the hotel fairly thin, and reported hearing activities in the hallways and television noises from the rooms.
negative:
Intermittent Wi-Fi signal
Visitors to New Braunfels found the complimentary wireless Internet useful, when they were able to connect to it, anyway. Several guests discussed having trouble linking to the router. When they were able to connect, they found it difficult to maintain a viable signal.
negative:
A handful of concerns with the room
For the most part, guests of the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels found the accommodations and amenities reliable. However, several travelers took issue with aspects of the rooms, including noisy AC units, hard mattresses and pillows, and slow (or fast, depending) draining bathtubs.
