Hotel Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hagerstown by I-81 (Hagerstown, USA)

Guests were happy with easy access to the hotel as it is only five minutes away from Hagerstown airport and just off Interstate 81. There are many restaurants like Del Sol Café for sandwiches or salads, Hempton Hill BBQ for tasty pork and chicken. Imperial Chinese restaurant near the hotel is also known for its delicious food.

Hotel staff was found to be professional yet friendly who assisted the guests with quick and hassle free Check-in and Check-out. Breakfast had a huge menu to choose from with muffins, bagels, cereals, cream cheese plus plenty of coffee and juice.

With clean rooms, convenient parking, fine continental breakfast and a good night's sleep, most of the guests found the hotel to be worth every penny paid for. Guests enjoyed the facility of hot tubs.

Many guests were disturbed by the noise of vehicles coming right from the highway as it is situated just next to the Interstate. High noise levels especially from the trucks kept many guests awake all night. Guests were also concerned about the proximity to the train traffic too. However, rooms at the back did not face this problem.

Guests experienced musty smell in the hotel lobby and corridors, which became unbearable after getting mixed with air fresheners. Some of the guests could smell cigarette smoke in the lobby and non-smoking rooms smelled of stale air.

Some of the guests found that few rooms were not well maintained. Carpets had holes in them, towels were very small and hard, faucet was dripping and coffee maker was missing. Guests were also disappointed with sinks dripping all night and TV listings that didn't work.
