Price and minimalistic comfort.
The rooms at Microtel Inn by Wyndham Arlington - Dallas Area were said to be well-priced — the main draw card for the vast majority of guests who stayed there — and while they were considered to be on the minimalistic side, the beds are said to be comfortable and each room comes with a small refrigerator and a microwave.

Mall shopping and plenty of dining handy.
Those who stayed said the hotel's location was handy for Arlington, and there were plenty of restaurants to be found within an easy walking distance. In addition, you will find that it is easy to access off Interstate Highway 20, convenient for plenty of mall shopping, and also only a short drive away from the Six Flags Over Texas theme park.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Outdated and smoky smelling.
People have said that the condition and maintenance of the rooms and bathrooms could be a lot better; there is reportedly a pervasive smell of smoke in the hotel and the overall impression is that it is outdated and well in need of upgrading. The carpets, at least, were being freshly laid at the time of writing at the end of 2015, with further remodeling slated to happen down the line.
negative:
Not the nicest setting.
Guests staying at Microtel Inn by Wyndham Arlington - Dallas Area have occasionally expressed discomfort while staying, due to things like the presence of security glass and very occasional reports of undesirable folks or noise from adjacent guests, but most people did not consider this too much of an issue.
negative:
Breakfast could be improved.
Those who stayed said the complimentary breakfasts did not offer much variety, with mainly carbohydrates on offer from what there was served. Likewise, the fact it was served in a rather small breakfast area did not win it many fans, but at least there was free coffee available around the clock.
