Positive Reviews
positive:
Decent value for money
While guests conceded that there was nothing really fancy about the hotel, luxury was not generally why they had booked here. Many guests felt that in spite of some issues they experienced, the fact that they had a bed in a decent spot at what they considered a reasonable room rate led them to conclude that they had received decent value for money.
positive:
Easy access from the interstate
Guests clearly loved being so close to the highway. They felt it made the hotel easy to find initially, and that it made getting on to their destinations that much easier, since there were no busy city streets to negotiate before speeding along the highway.
positive:
Great pool and hot tub
These two were definitely the amenities that guests most appreciated. The hot tub was especially liked since it allowed guests to soak away the stress of a long day on the road.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Multiple cleanliness issues
While even very highly rated hotels often get at least one or two complaints regarding cleanliness in their reviews, this hotel had substantially more than this many. Several guests reported that their room was exceptionally dirty on check-in, with things really not improving much, or at all, during the course of their stay.
negative:
Dogs barking
While not mentioned often, a few guests did have a problem with the hotel’s pet-friendly policy. They found that dogs, not matter how well behaved, have a tendency to bark, often just when they could do with another 15 minutes of sleep.
negative:
Property a bit run-down
Though some rooms do seem to be of an acceptable standard, several guests felt that the property as a whole seemed a bit run down. It was usually an accumulation of a lot of small factors, like peeling paint, that led to this conclusion.
