Hotel La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Radford (Radford, USA)

It seems that many guests were visiting Radford University for various reasons. While the hotel is not within easy walking distance of the campus, guests felt that it was well placed for such visits, being just a very short drive away.

Though there were some problems with the pillows, the mattresses received high marks from the guests. They were said to be exceptionally comfortable, with several saying they were like “sleeping on a cloud”.

Of course the La Quinta Group is well known for its pet-friendly policies, and this hotel was no exception. Guests with pets in tow appreciated staying at a hotel that was clearly set up to welcome and accommodate those with pets.

Several guests mentioned that they were disturbed by other guests who were throwing parties and making a noise. But others mention that even simple talking in adjacent rooms could be heard in theirs. They felt that the rooms were not adequately soundproofed.

While this hotel offers a more complete breakfast than many other properties, with several hot foods available in addition to the continental staples, guests did not seem to think much of the breakfast. Several reported that certain foods would run out long before the end of the serving period, and that some advertised items were not available at all.

While guests seemed to like the mattresses, the same couldn't be said about the pillows. There were several complaints that the pillows were especially uncomfortable. They were said to be either too lumpy, too thin or perhaps both.
