Positive Reviews
positive:
Very convenient microwave and fridge
Like many La Quinta properties, the rooms in this one all have mini-fridges and microwaves. While seemingly simple amenities, guests found them to be immensely useful. It allowed them to keep cold drinks cold, and prepare delicious snacks before settling down to the game or movie.
positive:
Boarded up mall nearby
While not often mentioned, it was reported that there's a mall near the property that is completely boarded-up. While it wasn't said to be a particular eyesore, it did give the area a bit of a forbidding feel.
positive:
Spotlessly clean
It was hard to find any harsh words written about the housekeeping staff. Guests seemed to feel that they had done a good job in preparing and cleaning the rooms initially, and continued to do a good job during the course of the stay keeping the rooms neat and fresh.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Uncomfortable sofa beds
The unfortunate guests banished to sleep on the sofa beds did not seem very happy with them. For a start, they were said to be too small for two adults, despite being listed as suitable for them. Secondly, like most sofa beds it seems, they were also described as very uncomfortable. The result was a very unsatisfactory night.
negative:
Where's the meat?
Specifically, guests were wondering where the protein sources for breakfast were. They described the breakfast as containing very little variety, and pretty much no source of protein - certainly no animal source. The breakfast was said to be suitable only to those who enjoyed a very high-carb meal at the start of the day.
negative:
Some issues wit the beds
Guests were more or less split down the middle when it came to the mattresses. Some loved them, but others were just as adamant that they were exceptionally uncomfortable.
