Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham Grand Junction Airport (Grand Junction, USA)

While not often mentioned, all those who brought up the question of value for money seemed to agree that the hotel, considering its location and facilities, offered them very good value for money.

There were certainly many guests who commented on the spaciousness of their rooms. Almost all seemed to have been very surprised to find a room much bigger than expected, and certainly didn't feel that the hotel was packing them in like sardines in a can.

While it did also create some noise issues, most guests found the location, just off the I-70, to be incredibly convenient. It seems many guests were through travelers, and found the hotel to be very easy to find from the highway.

While the La Quinta Group is of course well-known for its pet-friendly polices, this did not impress all guests. Some complained that other people's dogs would bark at the most inconvenient times. Such as in the early morning when they really needed another 15 minutes of quality sleep.

While the superior rooms do have these amenities, many standard rooms do not. Guests seemed to have really missed them, since it meant they couldn't keep their cold drinks cold, or prepare a quick snack, when watching TV and relaxing in their room.

Well, not actually for breakfast of course, but guests reported that all the breakfast utensils and plates were made from either Styrofoam or plastic. It did not seem to be what they were hoping for first thing in the morning and they felt it cheapened the atmosphere considerably.
