Numerous guests find this hotel is in need of some updates and renovation work. The hallways are well used and the elevators are very slow. Plus, furniture in the rooms and suites is often described as dated. Bathrooms, in particular, look especially old and tired.

Several guests mention that the housekeeping staff isn't averse to slamming doors and hoovering halls enthusiastically early in the morning. Unfortunately, that enthusiasm doesn't always carry across to the guest rooms where problems include stained bedding and mattress pads, stray hairs, and haphazard service times.
