Visitors spoke highly of the professional, welcoming and obliging staff, while diners often enjoyed the market-style continental breakfast buffet, saying it was a plentiful, yummy and inexpensive option in the mornings.

The practical, clean and comfy rooms were a hit with most reviewers, who also praised the cosy beds. Many felt the hotel was a reasonably-priced option considering its proximity to the sightseeing hotspots in the heart of Versailles.

Sightseers loved the hotel's position in the heart of the historic city west of Paris and within easy walking distance of the Palace of Versailles World Heritage Site as well as its beautiful gardens. A further handy bonus was that there were supermarkets and dining options in the vicinity. Drivers appreciated the easy access by car and proximity of the A86 Paris ring road. Non-motorists liked the way they could walk to the bus station as well as Versailles-Chantiers and Versailles-Rive Gauche train stations for RER line C services into central Paris.

Certain rooms were pretty small or lacked sufficient storage space for those on longer stays, according to several critics. There were also reports of small en suite bathrooms that would have benefited from a more user-friendly layout.

Noise from adjacent rooms and corridors was occasionally audible for some light sleepers. Furthermore, some rooms were also reportedly exposed to street noise at times.

Although guests welcomed the availability of a hotel parking lot nearby, it wasn't located on-site and some guests felt it was a little too far away to be highly convenient. Some motorists also claimed it was rather expensive.
