Positive Reviews
positive:
A beautiful waterfront location...
Guests rave about the hotel's location within the upscale Waterfront development, noting they are able to walk to its nice restaurants and shops. The hotel grounds are also widely described as "beautiful" and "immaculate", with leisurely walking trails (particularly ideal for the furry, four-legged guests) and an inviting patio area with gas grills and a gazebo. Young families also adore the six-hole putting green and the Sport Activity Court.
positive:
The great indoors...
Many guests are equally enthusiastic about the interior of the hotel, describing the rooms as spotlessly clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The kitchenettes, sofa beds, and separate bedrooms make the suites popular with families, who also adore the warm indoor pool. The free dvd rentals and library are also well appreciated.
positive:
Friendly faces at the front desk...
The front desk staff have received many glowing reviews for their friendly and professional customer service; travellers often comment on their smiling faces and genuine interest in their guests' well-being. The breakfast buffet and evening social also earn high marks for overall variety, quality, and organisation.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Light sleepers, stay on top...
Light sleepers recommend the top floor, as sound isolation between floors is not perfect, and in some rooms it is possible to overhear your next door neighbours as well.
negative:
Squeezing in a workout..
Active travellers note that though the gym is reasonably well equipped (for a hotel gym), there is little space between machines. The pool isn't large enough for lap swimming, either.
negative:
Must love dogs...
A few guests have been turned off by pet odour, or else have been inconvenienced by housekeeping oversights, though most travellers find the rooms very clean.
