You have to bear in mind at all times that this is a self-proclaimed low-budget hotel; completely free of frills and fripperies. So, the kitchenette is well equipped and has everything needed to help you save money and self-cater. There are some cleanliness issues but the bed linen is good and clean. Members of staff are friendly and helpful.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, so the choice is yours. Save money and eat in, using the kitchenette facilities – or enjoy a meal out in restaurants which seem to cater for all budgets.

If you are really hard-pressed financially, you won’t be the only one camping out in the car park! Out there, it gets very noisy as the night wears on, so don’t expect much sleep.

It lacks any semblance of TLC. Very run down and things don’t function properly; eg: the toilet doesn’t flush. Fluorescent lighting doesn’t do any room a favor! There's plenty of it here.

There’s no front-desk cover during the night – just a number to ring in case of emergency. Not worth phoning though – nobody answers. Quite unnerving.

Crumbs from previous guests are on the work surface and the toilet bowl hasn’t been cleaned in ages ... plus,the toilet, itself, leaks. Not surprisingly, carpets are very badly stained. It appears that most fellow guests are here for the long term. Some are more than a bit suspect.
