Although the hotel is clean and comfortable, guests do mention that some updates would be beneficial to the surroundings. Some new bedding wouldn't go amiss and guests note the lack of extras such as local artwork on the walls (as is found in other La Quinta hotels).

A number of guests weren't all that impressed by the hotel's immediate surroundings, often describing the area as a little sketchy, especially at night. Plus, groups of people are spotted hanging around the exterior of the hotel. Unsurprisingly, this made some guests feel uneasy.
