A colourful home away from home...
Guests often comment that the modern, cheerfully decorated rooms still look "brand-new," and that they are well equipped with everything you need to feel "at home": a big television with plenty of channels and connections for gaming consoles or other toys, speedy Wi-Fi, and a functional kitchenette. The beds get high marks for comfort, and the shades effectively blackout the midnight sun.

A warm welcome to Anchorage...
The reception staff consistently receive very positive reviews for their hospitality. They are pleased to recommend sights and restaurants, and to provide any other assistance guests may need. The shuttle to the airport and train station is much appreciated, and the drivers are widely described as prompt and courteous.

A great location for drivers...
Though there are a few shops and casual restaurants within walking distance, travellers recommend renting a car if you will be exploring the historic attractions and natural wonders of downtown Anchorage. It's not too far (about a ten-minute drive) and the hotel offers free parking.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Stay away from the road...
Rooms facing the highway are too noisy for light sleepers, and some guests have also reported poor sound insulation between rooms, particularly in the adjoining rooms.

Microwaved eggs?
Though many guests rave about the variety of choices available at the complimentary buffet, others are thoroughly turned off by pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches, which are meant to be microwaved, and wish for the traditional scrambled eggs instead.
negative:
Make a (little) splash...
Though the hot tub and saltwater pool are widely described as inviting and popular with little ones especially, fit travellers note the pool is too small for swimming laps.
