Many guests were very pleasantly surprised when viewing their room for the first time. They clearly found it to be bigger than they were expecting and enjoyed the feeling of luxury that extra space generated.
A large number of guests reported that they waited a very long time for the hotel’s complimentary airport shuttle to pick them up. After a long flight this was the very last thing they wanted, with some even opting to rather take a cab at their own expense.
Many guests did not like the location of the hotel, most often citing one of two reasons. Firstly, they said that there was nothing to do in the immediate area. Those without their own transport felt very much stuck at the hotel. Secondly, a number of guests felt it was in a bit of a shady part of town and didn’t feel safe walking in the area.
A worrying number of guests claimed that a security deposit, taken off their credit card on check in, meant to cover breakages and incidental charges, was not returned, even weeks later. They all maintained that there were no breakages and no other reasons to not return the deposit.
