Positive Reviews
positive:
Large, spacious rooms
The rooms are large and spacious, with an airy feeling which comes from the floor-to-ceiling windows letting in lots of light and leading out into a private patio or balcony, extending the sense of spaciousness. There's a high standard of housekeeping here which the rooms reflect. The friendly, professional staff has received much appreciation from guests.
positive:
Retro but modern
The decor is an ingenious juxtaposition of retro and modern, of the traditional with the updated. In the general area, the look is a classic "Vegas in the 50's", yet the rooms are totally up-to-date, with the latest looks in interior decor.
positive:
Great facilities and location
The fitness center has two spa tubs, yoga and pilates classes and an outdoor, heated pool. Guests find the pool a great place to hang out during the daytime, while the hotel is conveniently situated near places of interest to travelers and tourists, which makes for interesting evenings out in the locality.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hopeless room keys
According to some of the guests, the room keys are ultra-sensitive and constantly get de-magnetized. Guests have to contact the front desk to get the keys re-issued. Guests are usually told that they must have de-magnetized the key by placing it too near their cell phone.
negative:
Pool access limited
On Saturdays, the pool is open to registered guests only, which means that outside people are not allowed in. The hotel operates this policy to ensure that the pool does not become overcrowded on Saturday, but some guests, who had come to celebrate birthdays, were upset because their guests were unable to join them.
negative:
Loud pool area
Really loud music plays around the pool at weekends, so if looking for peace and quiet, request a room far away.
