Always well-presented and friendly, members of staff are happy to adapt in order to meet your needs - and attend to any unforeseen problems. You want a room with views to the airport (*great for kids!)- ‘certainly sir'. Consider it done. There's a strange smell in the room! Not for long, there isn't. They'll either get rid of it or move you to a better room.

The hotel is remarkably quiet, considering how close it is to the airport. (*The 24-hour airport shuttle does what it says and is efficient at all times of the day and night).Even the air conditioning is … quiet! Rooms are clean, the bathroom is spectacularly so. Beds are comfortable and the overall cost doesn't threaten the budget.

Breakfast is good and free. Plenty of choice and there's none of that annoying queuing that is usually experienced. There are quite a few attractive restaurants locally for any later dining.

The pool is OK, a bit on the small side plus; it's only 5' deep. *The kids love it though, so it definitely serves a purpose.

You arrive at the airport; phone the hotel for the shuttle and ‘no reply'! It can happen ... and after some time, you have little choice but to put your hand in your pocket and pay for a taxi.

The surrounding area isn't thrilling; in fact the hotel is in an industrial setting. It has to be said that whilst the hotel itself is very successfully changing its previously somewhat tarnished image and it remains a 'work in progress'.
