The hotel's staff members are not only very jovial and welcoming but they go out of their way to assist you and make your stay as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. They are also readily available and give you all the information you need.

Locating the hotel for a first timer while checking in is very easy as the building is near the Maryland State Capitol building and about a mile from the U.S Naval Academy. The hotel's proximity to the city center provides guests with a variety of restaurants, attractions and shops to visit.

The hotel's restaurant and full bar serve very high quality food. There are a wide variety of dishes to cater to various palates.

Some guests felt that they were being overcharged for parking at the hotel. A major concern was that guests were not notified of the paid parking spaces when booking.

Some guests were dissatisfied with the quality of mattresses provided pointing out that they were too hard and small. The air conditioning was seen as being ineffective, unreliable and of poor quality, plus it only worked in some rooms and not in others.

A few guests have complained about the hotel being in a somewhat drab state and some areas seem to be in need of refurbishment. Some rooms lacked ventilation and guests who were affected were of the opinion that they smelt mouldy and damp.
