Doubletree by Hilton Annapolis is a 100% non-smoking property which is great for those who don't imbibe and prefer that their room smell fresh and not like acrid, second-hand smoke.

A warm, helpful, multilingual staff welcomes you at check-in and is there for the duration of your stay. They are happy to accommodate most any request and they can point you in the direction of places to eat and the most popular local attractions.

It's great to know that pets are welcome at this hotel, especially for those who love to travel with their favorite canine companions. There is a fee for this amenity and some restrictions apply.

It's been a while since Doubletree by Hilton Annapolis got any TLC and it shows. Stained carpeting, tired furnishings, some of which are on their last legs and bathroom fixtures that have seen better days make for a less-than-pleasing esthetic.

Some of the guest rooms here are on the small side. So if you're traveling with more than one person, have a lot of luggage in tow or need extra room to maneuver, be sure to ask for a larger room at check-in.

The WiFi is spotty and a bit slow in the guest rooms which could be problematic if you are traveling on business, have kids who want to use their devices or simply want to get an email out in a hurry. Luckily, you can use your devices in the public spaces, where the WiFi is spot-on.
