Their shuttle service makes life easy
Many guests took advantage of the hotel's complimentary shuttle service, which goes anywhere within three miles of the hotel including Tampa International Airport. This was very convenient for guests who were flying in and out or conducting business close by, as it enabled them to skip the hassle of renting a car.

Previous guests were generally pleased with the selection at breakfast. They reported that there were many, varied options to choose from, that everything was fresh and kept well stocked, and also that the breakfast attendants were friendly and displayed excellent customer service.

Guest were impressed by the low rates at Hampton Inn Tampa - International Airport - Westshore. They felt that the price compared to the quality of the hotel and its amenities represented a significant value, and tended to be lower than the rates at other area hotels.

The rooms are a bit small
Several reviews complained about the size of the rooms, which many guests found to be too small. They would have preferred more room to spread out and store their belongings. A few guests suspected that the rooms were under-sized because it was an older property.

A dehumidifier is provided in many of the rooms, but that still was not enough to combat what previous guests described as fairly intense humidity inside the guest rooms. This problem also seemed to contribute to a musty smell many guests complained about, as well as slightly damp carpets.
